Day Trip on a Bus to China Town, Bangkok, Thailand: นั่งรถเมล์เที่ยวไชน่าทาวน์ กรุงเทพ

The best time to go on a day trip to China Town is in the morning before the traffic started to build up in the afternoon. The best transport is the local bus, preferably the bus without air-conditioning so that one can see out of the window and take photos too. I often take a bus ride to China Town to visit old Chinese shrines, shop at the crystal shops and walk around the old quarter. There are always new goods in the wholesale quarter which gives an indication of current fashions.

These are the photos taken by my small Canon IXUS 185 while the bus goes through the slow traffic. I plan to get a new camera next year depending on my budget. This part is the first part of my tour to the oldest goldsmith in Thailand. There is a museum of goldsmith full of old tools for making gold jewelries. The atmosphere of China town and Yaowarad road is always very exciting and stimulating to me. I hope you'll enjoy these photos of Yaowarad road.
