The scenery of the place is mind blowing but upon searching for the place i found on Wikipedia that according to the 2010 census the total population of the Ulagansky District was 11,388 and Ulagan percentage in this figure is only 28%. is this why there are no human souls in the pictures due to less population @ianboil

    There are no people on photos for several reasons:

    1. To shooting the tourists is not interesting, and the districkt difficult to access, many are afraid to come here, you rarely see people.
    2. Indigenous inhabitants - Altaians, it is prohibited to photograph (or if only with their permission) and in this districkt they are especially unfriendly =/
