The United States in January - Part 12: Universal Studios Tour, Los Angeles

in #travel6 years ago

In addition to the roller coasters and the special effects show, the guided tour around the Universal Studios was well worth the time and money.

The first two photos feature a few vehicles seen in Universal Studios movies. They usually just create the body of the car and fit it to something less expensive, because crashing real supercars would be too expensive.

The next two photos are of sets you might see in westerns for example. They also showed how easily they could create rain or even floods.

Just a basic metro set. Here they once again demonstrated their ability to make a place flood.

This dirty building doesn't look like much, but inside there was a Fast and Furious 3D show. Earlier in the tour there was also a King Kong show which was quite good. The Fast and Furious show was actually surprisingly bad, considering how great everything else had been during our stay.

We arrived early in the morning and left late at night. We were lucky that it wasn't a holiday season so there weren't too many people there. I'd imagine that in the summer one day isn't enough to experience everything the park has to offer because you might have to waste hours waiting in lines.
