My trip to India
I have visited India more than seven times in the last five years They were all for training or educational attainment and every time I visited India I had to visit Taj Mahal every time I visit India
And as simple information for those who do not know Taj Mahal and this is from wikipedia.org
The Taj Mahal (/ˌtɑːdʒ məˈhɑːl/, more often /ˈtɑːʒ/;[3] meaning Crown of the Palace[4]) is an ivory-white marble mausoleum on the south bank of the Yamuna river in the Indian city of Agra. It was commissioned in 1632 by the Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan (reigned 1628–1658), to house the tomb of his favourite wife, Mumtaz Mahal. The tomb is the centrepiece of a 17-hectare (42-acre)[5] complex, which includes a mosque and a guest house, and is set in formal gardens bounded on three sides by a crenellated wall.
Construction of the mausoleum was essentially completed in 1643 but work continued on other phases of the project for another 10 years. The Taj Mahal complex is believed to have been completed in its entirety in 1653 at a cost estimated at the time to be around 32 million rupees, which in 2015 would be approximately 52.8 billion rupees (US$827 million). The construction project employed some 20,000 artisans under the guidance of a board of architects led by the court architect to the emperor, Ustad Ahmad Lahauri.
The Taj Mahal was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983 for being "the jewel of Muslim art in India and one of the universally admired masterpieces of the world's heritage". Described by Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore as "the tear-drop on the cheek of time",[6][7] it is regarded by many as the best example of Mughal architecture and a symbol of India's rich history. The Taj Mahal attracts 7–8 million visitors a year. In 2007, it was declared a winner of the New7Wonders of the World (2000–2007) initiative.
Since I was staying in New Delhi, the time from Delhi to Taj Mahal is between three and a half to four hours so we were ready to travel from 3 am and moved at 4 am and at 5 am we were in Noida It is one of India's modern cities with modern architecture
At seven in the morning, we stopped for breakfast and had a delicious breakfast all four of us participated and then we started again Then at nine o'clock we arrived at our destination Taj Mahal and then we stopped the vehicles in the parking The vehicles are not allowed to approach the Taj Mahal and our tour guide told us that because of the fumes of cars they could pollute the white stones from the temple was built so we took a horse-drawn cart and that was the beginning of our trip
We drove for about ten minutes with the horse-drawn cart until we reached the main entrance gate and had several entrances but we took the front gate and paid the fees and took the guide in a tour of Taj Mahal as I mentioned to you above
What drew my attention from the entrance is the amount of rooms in a long row and the tour guide told us that they were the rooms of the military or the workers of that time when we arrived at the Taj Mahal courtyard and looked at the beauty of the scenery, we were impressed by the magnificent view. When we approached the tomb we had to wear a white piece on our shoes. Then we were allowed to enter the place where the Queen was buried and walked around the place
