Welcome to Pai

Pai a small town in the mountainous province of Mae Hong Son in northeastern Thailand .

If you like a sleepy little town, nature , temples and good people to relax after a day full of adventure and explore , Pai is the place to be.

Pai are located 130 km west from Chiang Mai and 100 km northeast from Mae Hong Son river.

The best travel time to Pai are from October until February . In day time the temperature goes up to 30 degree and in the night time the temperature can go down to 12 degree. From march to May the temperature can go up to 40 degree in day time , its very hot.
The rain season start in June until Oktober ,and its possible some areas are flooding.

To explore the area from Pai , rent a Motorbike because its very easy to drive in Pai and around. But choose well from ho you rent the bikes ;)

Also in the are of Pai there are hot springs ( really hot ) after a long day and in the cool night time its great to go in the hot spring pool.

In the morning hours and in the afternoon you have a street market , but one of the best are the night market, the streets are full of colors and smells from spices .

How we can go to Pai ?

-With the bus from Chiang may , you need around 3-4 hours

-With airplane from Chiang may to pay its a little airport and you arrive in around 35 min

-With a care by your own ,but take care its a dangerous mountain road

-Or you rent a taxi and them drive you to Pai
