Historical and Preserved

Vigan is popular because of the Calle Crisologo and other heritage building and structure build during 18 century,this heritage sites is never been renovated,so while you were walking in the street you will feel you'll back in the 18 century in the spanish colonial era.Vigan is the one most quaint city in the Philippines,in the central area of vigan there have a policy"NO AUTOMOBILES ALLOWED " I don't now way maybe it there way to preserved the city.
Vigan is the preserved example of the old spanish colonial town in Asia, in year 2014 Vigan become one of the NEW SEVEN WONDER CITIES IN THE WORLD because of the historical and heritages building,structures,churches,cultures and cities..
Until now the Calleza is use as transportation vehicle in vigan,to preserved the quaintness and smoke free of the town.."maybe"
Vigan have also a popular food it called "VIGAN EMPANADA". Vigan empanada is not the usual empanada with meat filling inside. Vigan empanada dough was made in rice flour" Giniling na bigas" and to make the dough color orange they put atsuete oil,the filling of vigan empanada is vegetable, it was green unripe papaya,carrot and ilocos longganisa, and they put a whole egg in the middle.They not baked the empanada but they fried it.so when you visit vigan try there original vigan empanada, I already try it,for me its 5 star because I like the taste and most of all the crispy dough of empanada.
