The Glass Building
This is the Glass Building, one of the finest and tallest building in Nigeria, located at Dugbe in Ibadan, Oyo state, South Western Nigeria. The photo was taken by Olusegun Aderogba during the 9mobile photography competition. The view of this building will leave you with an ethereal feeling and a sweet lingering thought that anything is possible!
I had to visit the place myself and have an experience, the sight of it was amazing. When I looked Up into the blue sky to behold the topmost floor, it made me feel like a Superhero who's no longer afraid of heights.
Just so you know and add to your knowledge, the fear of heights is known as acrophobia.
So next next you're on the floor of a storey building or on top of any structure, you can measure your sense of balance and know if you're acrophobic or not, hahaha, that's by the way.
The glass building houses offices, business outfits, organizations and other corporate establishments. But the place looks moribund sometimes as if nothing happens there.
It is located in heart of Dugbe which is the headquarters of Ibadan North West LGA.
Ibadan is one of the oldest and largest cities in West Africa. The city is predominantly occupied by the Yorubas and people from other ethnic groups in Nigeria.
It is well known for its Old, beautiful ancient Abrahamic structures and buildings scattered everywhere and evident with brown roofs. However, the city is also blessed with a few skyscrapers and fine buildings of wonderful architectural designs and sophistication.
