Located near the "Chone River" near the cities of San Vicente and Bahía de Caráquez (Ecuador Coast), it offers us a rare mixture of fresh water and salt water, which forms the mangrove forest that forms the Isla Corazón and other nearby islands. It has a very good wildlife that protects two islands with 800 hectares of mangroves. It has a large number of birds (more than 90 birds). And one of the largest frigate colonies in Latin America.
The beautiful tunnels that run through the Corazón island below the mangrove swamp, you can take a canoe tour to observe the biodiversity of flora and fauna produced by the island.
