Your picture looks like a painting to me, like those Impressionist landscapes. Perhaps it is the effect of the sky in the background, which somehow dominates the whole, and which is reinforced in the color of the caricatures, although making a contrast with them (I say this because of the sober tone of the sky and the mockery of the caricatures). Then, I am also struck by the shadows on the wall and on the floor, which play with the towers in the background.
