RE: Halloween on the Beach at Semaphore, South Australia.
Semaphore is always a family favourite, it looks pretty quiet in those photos. Luck you!
My family went down there recently and there were Seals frolicking about beneath the jetty, which is apparently a common occurrence O.o
Never seen seals there, but have at other beaches. Hubby was snorkeling when a big one swam right towards him. He thought it was a shark and it scared the crap out of him! 😆
We sometimes see dolphins at the end of the jetty.
I did my advanced recreational dive course down at Rapid bay, and we did a night dive under the jetty. One instructor was with us, and another was walking along the jetty, above.
When we got back to shore he said there were 4 big seals circling just outside range of our torches for pretty much the entire time.
So glad I didn't see a fast, black silhouette flitting past, 5m down, 100m from shore.
I had no idea they were there.
