Alcatraz Water Tower in 4K
This water tower build in 1940 to stored the 250,000 gallons of fresh water for Island of Alcatraz. This Island doesn't have any fresh water in the ground.
The only way it gets fresh water is to haul it by boat twice a week from San Francisco when the Prison was running.
It is not used today but to remind us of the past American Indians who occupied the island to broadcast message of peace and freedom.
And because of them we have a park to go to and visit.
