Today I will tell you something about Monastery Ostrog which is dedicated to St. Vasilije. I was there some time ago. It is beautifull!!! That place gives you inner peace. Amazing building!!! Part of road near Monastery is a little unapproachable. St.Vasilije is known as the saint who defend their monastery and takes care of all who come to him to return safely home. Miracles do happen for people who believe in them!!! Rule is if you are planning a trip to the Ostrog do not talk about it around, glory not, and there take a pure heart and a prayer. If you are a spiritual person who believes in God, it will reflect on your behavior but also respect for the sanctity of that coming in. Let this respect see in your face, contrition, and wardrobe. In the monastery you can not go bare legs and arms, which means that men must wear long pants, and women long skirts and sleeveless.

Monastery Ostrog is a monastery of the Serbian Orthodox Church housed on the mountain Ostroska greda in Montenegro. It was created by the Herzegovinian Metropolitan Vasilije in the 17th century. Name Ostrog comes from older forms of Serbian word sharp. Ostrog monastery consists of the Upper and Lower monastery. In the Upper Monastery, dedicated to the Presentation of the Most Holy Mother of God, there is a hermitage where the last five years of his life he lived St.Vasilije. The monastery was restored 1923.-1926.

Danas cu Vam reci nesto o manastiru Ostrog koji je posvecen Svetom Vasiliju. Bila sam tamo pre izvesnog vremena. Prelepo je!!! To mesto Vam daje unutrasnji mir. Neverovatno zdanje. Deo puta blizu manastira je malo nepristupacan. Sveti Vasilije poznat kao svetac koji brani svoj manastir i brine o svima koji dodju do njega da se bezbedno vrate kuci. Cuda se desavaju ljudima koji veruju u njih. Pravilo je da ako planirate putovanje na Ostrog da ne govorite nikome o tome, da se ne hvalite, i da ponesete cisto srce i molitvu. Ako ste duhovna osoba koja veruje u Boga, to bi se trebalo odraziti na Vase ponasanje, ali i postovanje svetosti u koju idete. Neka se to postovanje vidi na Vasem licu i oblacenju. U manastir se ne moze ici golih nogu i ruku, sto znaci da ljudi moraju nositi dugacke pantalone a zene duge suknje i rukave.
Manastir Ostrog je manastir Srpske pravoslavne crkve smesten na planini Ostroska greda u Crnoj gori. Sagradjen je od strane hercegovackog mitropolita Vasilija u sedamnaestom veku. Ime Ostrog potice od starijeg oblika reci ostar. Manastir Ostrog se sastoji od donjeg i gornjeg manastira. U gornjem manastiru koji je posvecen svetoj Bogorodici, nalazi se isposnicka celija u kojoj je Sveti Vasilije ziveo poslednjih pet godina zivota. Manastir je obnovljen u periodu od 1923.-1926.
Postoji jos mnogo stvari koje Vam mogu pisati o Ostrogu, i mnogo cuda za koja ljudi govore da su se dogodila.
