Such A Wonderful Day at La Laguna Festival!
Hello! Steemit! just want to share our happy moments in Laguna's very own La Laguna Festival.
First a brief explanation of what La Laguna Festival is.
This festival usually starts in month of April and its a whole week celebration of the province's bountiful harvest and it showcases the rich natural environment and resources of the province. The festival is composed of different activities such trade fair, street dance battle of different municipalities and the finale, the fireworks display.
In the early development of this event it is called Anilag, my father told me that it is the short term for " Ani ng Laguna" which means Laguna's Harvest in english. That is why this festival is a unique one.
We'll start with one of the display booth of a municipality, the municipality of Paete.
PAETE
They are known for their woodcarving techniques and paper mache products. The usual product is horse paper mache which is good as kids toy to play and ride.

And also woodcraft products such as religious wood sculptures of saints, you can visit the link below for a featured wood carver and some of his products.

Another municipality display is from Los Baños Laguna which is known for their delicious and mouthwatering "buko pie" and specialty cakes of MERNEL Cake-house. I hope that they'll give me one if a relative of them be able to read my introduction of their product.(lol)

This pie is very delicious because of the real coconut milk and meat mixed inside and it is also nutritious.

This cake is also very delicious because of its soft moist cake inside and the sweetness of the icing and chocolate is just right. I preferred eating this cake cold because the chocolate flavor is more emphasized if it is cold.
Los Baños
Los Baños is also known for the forest reserve of Mt. Makiling which great for adventure seekers is nature lovers. You can visit the link below for some info regarding this place.

Calauan
This municipality is known for production of sweetest pineapples. So if your craving for pineapple just visit this town either you want just a slice or a naturally squeeze juice of pineapple this is the place to be.

Also in Calauan you can find the tourist spot "Isdaan" a floating restaurant which is known for their huge Thailand-themed displays and different attraction. The resto also offers different delicious dishes.
