My Holiday KALEIDOSCOPE
Whilst my holidays are not quite over,
they will be coming to an end in the next few days
and I wanted to re-live some if the awesome moments
we have all shared together...
We have had almost three weeks of pure bliss!
STRESS FREE!!!!
And DAMN have I needed it!!!
I have essentially lived in two outfits
the entire time lol!
wear, wash, wear, wash, wear, wash....
black shorts, white shorts, black shorts, white shorts,
hahahahaha!
Oh the simple life!
In fact, I think I REALLY need to re-asses
my cupboard situation at home,
as this is a LOT simpler and requires
a MUCH less washing! hahaha
Coming to my dad's place during the festive season,
as mentioned in my Xmas post,
always requires a fair amount of innovation...
So our Xmas tree is always relatively creative...
Last year we did a twig tree which we painted silver,
and then we draped with barone chocolates haha!
This year we cut the tip of the pine
added whatever "actual" decorations we could muster
and filled the rest with colour beads
and twirly whirly wrapping paper. lol
We had plenty of shenanigans
my son and I, which I LOVE
because that in itself is a form
of quality time....
non-sensical quality time....
just for giggles! haha
There was wine....
LOTS of wine!!
Always LOTS of wine @traciyork lol
So CHEERS to that!!!!
We kicked our feet up and chillaxed
over here....
and some more over there...
hahahaha
There was swimming,
LOTS of swimming...
Bomb drops, Pin Drops
you name it!!!
There were
OYSTERS!!!!
mmmmm oysters!!!!
YUM!!!
and whilst I would have been
more than happy to stuff my face on oysters
for the entire holiday,
there has been PLENTY of other
DELICIOUS FOOD!!!!
There were fires,
conversations and sunsets...
and some more of all that...
hahaha
I think for me,
one of the most precious parts
of this entire holiday has been
all the beautiful moments shared
between all the cousins!
We are 4 children, to my mom and dad
and between the four of us,
there are 5 cousins...
James, Joshua, Juliet, Jude, Joseph
HOW COOL IS THAT RIGHT!!!
hahahha!!!
And their ring leader....

Mwaahahahaha!!!
There was NO shortage of
"selfies", "onsies" and "say cheese" moments either!
What are holidays about
if not capturing all the wonderful moments
that you share with family!
SAY CHEESE!!!!!!!
hahahaha!
Xmas day was AMAZING!
however, I wont divulge too much into that
because I did a whole post on that!
New Years eve was pretty relaxed,
There was a bit of dancing...
conversation and good times,
Until Aunty Jayne began to sulk
because the family were not game
for a big enough party.... hahahaha
Oh the troubles of a party girl... lol
but the parts that we did have were awesome!!!
lol...
EVIDENCE!!! hahha
(and Gaaaawd know what this shite music is lol)
but the kids love it hahaha!
Even "poppy" got his JIGGY on! lol
It has TRULY been an amazing holiday!!!
and I am REALLY
going to make the most of the last few days!
Whoop Whoop!!!
So CHEERS to that!!!
and now, if you will excuse me...
I need to go make some salsa... ;)

Nice pictures - excellent trip for all! My dad and I made a Christmas tree like that one year when we were on our own and left to minimal resources. We made the best holiday memories that year. Hope you transition smoothly into reality after your holiday vacation!

The atmosphere of your holiday has totally come through those picture, I can tell you've had an amazing time. And you have a huge family, it's great that you were all able to spend Christmas together like that, the kids must have loved it!
By the way, I do the same thing when I go on holiday - I only wear one dress and one pair of shorts the whole time :)
