Granny's Flat, Part I: Getting there
The long road to Granny's Flat, after work, on Friday.
Granny's flat is about 3hours and a bit, north east of Melbourne. It lies in the high country. The campsite is beside the Jamieson River, a natural fresh water river. The water is crispy fresh and quite shallow.
The drive up was smooth and enjoyable. Working through some nice cds. Finishing up with Michael Jackson songs, and a sore throat, from singing at a high pitch. 😄
We decided that we should attempt to setup camp, before it got dark, and then head out for a pub meal.
It was pretty much dark by the time we set up camp.
The pub was pretty much closed by the time we got there.
We set up a fire, had some bread slices and wine, before retiring.
