Bear's Tipi . Devils Tower
The First Nations would came to winter, hunt, and pray.
Legend has it, seven sisters were saved from a bear by the gods when the earth pulled them into the sky. The giant bear scratched and left his claw marks trying to reach them.
I visited on a Sunday surrounded by happy families and buses of foreign tourists.
I am thankful I drove west one morning to visit Bears Tipi.

Looks fun. Imaginative. It's actually a butte. Theres thousands of buttes all over the black hills of South Dakota and Montana. They are magma that pushed the earth up. Kind of a weak volcano.
What an epic formation, I am imagining what it would look like at night with the Milky Way behind it. This is a place I must visit someday!
Yes. They prevent light pollution to do just that for Stargazing Nights.
