Our trip from Kuala Lumpur to Genting Highlands

On our way up to Genting Highlands in Malaysia. The road is much wider and better than before when we drove up many years ago. They were building many new hotels and we saw lots and lots of new condos along the way.

As we travel higher, the air became colder and there were cloudy and foggy as well.

This was taken when we arrived into our destination. You can barely see the Cable Car. Some tourists traveled by buses, taxis, private cars or local public buses to the base and they will take cable car up to the Resorts and Casino in Genting Highlands.

It was pretty cold and windy and it rained for 2 days out of the 4 days we were up there.

Now this photo was taken on a beautiful sunny day and you can see the contrast verses the previous photo. Photo taken from my hotel room window.

We stayed at the First World Hotel which is where all the new developments and exciting shows are located. There are lots of famous and well known shops and countless food outlets as well. I will be sharing more in my next post.

Now we are at Kuala Lumpur where I have WiFi and internet. Just came down from Genting this afternoon. Currently we are staying at Fahrenheit 88, a Service Apartment in the heart of KUL (Kuala Lumpur). Pavilion Shopping Mall is connected to Fahrenheit 88, and we can just walk across once we are down to the lobby. Even if it rains, we are shelter with this internal walk way. Tomorrow we will go visiting some friends and then hope to do some shopping as well.

Going to bed now, as it was a long day.
