This is an excellent guide to how to survive on the roads in Australia. Everyone should read this when coming here to Australia. Too many backpackers die on the roads, or cause deaths and it is getting on the locals nerves so much they are currently asking the government to bring in the need for International Drivers Licence only when driving here.
Thanks for your kind words :D It's a sad truth, when we were there we heard many stories of backpackers dying on the road or because they were camping in the wrong place. They need to be more informed before hitting the road.
