Hi Everyone!

This blog is on COSTA RICA! One of my FAVOURITE places on earth!

Costa Rica is literally so lush and beautiful, you experience it all!! From being at an amazon jungle to even the desert. The climate also differs from various locations. We actually experienced rain but only for one night and it was actually refreshing. The rain was warm and just felt so different then rain you experience here in Toronto, Canada.

We stayed at the Riu Palace... this is our go to spot! Paying the extra to be at a Palace is really worth it in my opinion. The Food was spectacular!!!! I love costa rican food, we actually tried going to an authentic costa rican restaurant in Toronto but sadly there is none so we ended up going to a Nicaraguan restaurant which was similar with the food--SO GOOD!!

We did a lot of excursions in Costa Rica and we actually did not book anything with the hotel because the people by the beach was super nice honestly we just had to go with them! We actually became friends and reconnect through Facebook.
Make sure you go with NELSON for your adventure tours and I forgot his name but he always has his dog! I can't believe I forgot his name but make sure you go with him as he hooks you up with all your excursions and thats how we met NELSON. His wife does an amazing job at massages which are 30$ for One hour full body (literally) THE BEST!!!!!!! had massages every single day!

We did a ATV tour of 7 beaches in Costa Rica, all so different and so beautiful and then we ate at this authentic restaurant by the last beach. Everything was pretty cheap. We also did a volcanic tour where we go around the crate of the volcano (Marvallies) and go into the natural sauna room, put Sulpher all over your body from the Volcano and then go into a natural spring hottub which is all generated by this volcano.

Beware of the SMELL and also if the Sulpher gets on your bathing suit make sure its a bathing suit that you don't really care about because it will leave a strong smell- doesn't matter how long and often you wash it. I still have the smell lol. We also ate at the restaurant thats there and its the BEST food I've ever had, the fish, the beans and the salad and the sauces SOOOO DELISH!

WE also hiked down to a waterfall which was amazing and so magically perfect. This waterfall was honestly so beautiful-- We also did horse back riding which was fun because we got to go through the jungle and really see Costa Rican fields and there were howler monkeys everywhere (aka DRUNK monkeys) !!This resort was actually awesome because we grabbed mangos and fruits in general and fed them to the monkeys when you walk down the beach and howler monkeys were everywhere!

Also, the ocean is SUPER WARM! we both thought it was a mild hot tub and the water is not clear, so for those of you who like that clear blue ocean water. The sand is blackish and the sand does get hot so be mindful of that. But other than that this spot is the place to be whether your looking for some adventure or just to relax and sip on that margarita by the beach... COSTA RICA is the place to be. And why wouldn't you since its considered the happiest place on the planet!
