Puerto Princesa City, the metro city of Palawan, became one of my favorite places after the stuff I did there. Because of it's huge natural land area, it became one of the largest cities in the Philippines. Tourists choose Puerto Princesa as their destination for it overflows natural wonders, topped with good food, cleanliness of the place, and friendly, disciplined people. The best part, the tourism industry here is so organized that exploring is never a problem even if it’s your first time to set foot on this unique paradise.

The famous Puerto Princesa Underground River is one major tourist attraction in Palawan. In our case since we only stayed for 2 days and 1 night we just decided to take the hotel & tour package to maximize our time. If you have enough time you can just book cheapest rooms and go directly to the underground river booking office, From Puerto Princesa Airport, ride a tricycle to Underground River Booking Office. Don't forget this step, you can't just show up in Sabang as they limit tourists to about 600 per day. For us, the agency just in coordination with the hotel that we booked just arranged everything going to the river.

Before you can reach the river as photos shown above. You will have to take a boat ride from Sabang beach, it takes less than an hour.

Near the cave entrance, enlist for another boat, good for 6 people, to ferry you inside and out of the longest navigable underwater river in the world.

The hotel we stayed in. Though the price is quite pricey compared to other hotels available in the city still I'd like to commend for great ambiance, friendly and helpful staff. The two nights stay costs 1200.00php (24.012 US Dollar)
