PUERTO PRINCESA PALAWAN (BAKER'S HILL)

Let me share with you guys my experience with the famous theme park in Puerto Princesa Palawan which is the Baker's Hill. It is named Baker's Hill by the way for it started as a simple bakery with a mini park way back then. It is famous for it's unique architectures and colorful, attractive and human-sized statues of your favorite cartoon characters. Most of the tourists visit the place to buy souvenirs and sweet delicacies to bring back home.

Baker's hill is just a tricycle away from the city proper. If your are not grabbing the city tour which costs roughly 500-600 (almost $10.00) pesos whole day you can just commute going there for only 60 pesos..( $1.17 ) The place is truly a wonderland. You may wanna bring your younger brothers, sisters and nephews for they surely will love the place. If you wanna chill and eat pastries or pizzas you can dine in the restaurant. They serve reasonably delicious foods.

What really caught my attention was the man-made tree with a lot of "Pick-up lines". This place is really good for couples and even singles who just wanna have their moments and think anything about life. You are surely breathing fresh air for the place is so clean and calm. When you visit this place be sure your cameras are ready because there are so much to take photos with.

It says , that never say past is already past if your love never lasts.

You can use this pickup line when you court a girl, it just says that "my love for you is like breathing, why should I stop if I know I can't" how sweet right?

It was Valentine's day when we visited the place so most of their designs and decorations are for the said event. Who can't fall in love with this place if you see all of these stuffs.

They also have this place where you can actually have your prenup photos taken. It has full of vibrant and blossomed flowers. Like I said, have your cameras ready for you can take a lot of instagramable photos here.

I was able to meet my favorite childhood character, which is "SHREK"

Indeed this place is worth to visit. I felt like I went back to my childhood and had nothing to do but play and eat. I suggest you should visit the place in the morning so that everything looks fresh and the photos will look good and vibrant. You also have to get the phone number of your driver so that you can easily get in touch with him if you will head back to the city already. The place isn't that accessible.

Of course you shouldn't forget to buy their sweet delicacies. I assure you these are worth to buy. Specially their "pastillas" it's one of a kind. I spent almost 1000.00 pesos just for these sweets.
