Bayawan : from daybreak to sunset in pictures

Grabbing my camera phone after seeing two fishing boats nearer to the shore than they normally were, i thought i'd take some shots before they can bring in their catch to the shore. It didn't take a minute to leave my bambike leaning to one of the boats and took my position. This without realising that they were stationary.

Oh well, stationary or moving away, they're a good subject. And the surroundings.

Bayawan City's main livelihood is fishing, where the shore was enclosed with the boulevard from end to end. Functioning fishing boats are docked and scattered everywhere, same with the old and broken ones. One in particular is being used by the locals as their siesta room, in hammocks.

Some trees along the shore have some hammocks for the locals and visitors too can hang theirs. This from Tatay Dagsa's visitors last weekend from Dumaguete City.

This was in the morning, followed by Ligiron games with @flabbergast-art. Preparations now are ongoing with the incoming SKIMBOARDING event on Sunday. As we are leaving tomorrow for DAUIN, a diving area just outside Dumaguete, Tatay Dagsa will have to oversee these.

A blanket to sit on to catch the Sunset

We've never done this as from Tatay Dagsa's cafe, the beach is literally infront of us so the inclination to grab a blanket, forget the beer, have not occured till this afternoon.

Marlon is into photography so we can't helped but bring a bit of competition when shooting pictures. Personally, can his Oppo win over my Samsung? I guess i need to be an artist too to win. But some other time.

Saving the best for last

What caught my attention when @flabbergast-art arrived here was that, a community of VEGAN is thriving here. Making their own juice, having bottle packagings and all. Throw in the eco-farm we visited yesterday who makes its' own fertilizers called MOKUSAKU. I have to do research on this one as it's what made me so curious yesterday.

Since arriving here, i've met numbers of collective artists and i've only been here a week.
