A day in High Chapparal "Wild West" Theme Park , Sweden
Howdy Folks , we done some visit to Wild West Theme Park in Sweden , near city of Varnamo .
Park was opened in 1966 ( this year was 50 anniversary ) by Bengt Erlandson aka Big Bengt . Sadly Mr. Erlandson has passed away this year in March.
Entrance fee is around 25 EUR depending of month . It stages several stunt shows every day so it is very easy to catch what you like . It is great for kids . Different areas cover American Civil war , Indian , Mexican and Wild West themed area , it has a museum , restaurants , shopping are and so on .
We didn't know that area is so big so on end of the day we where exhausted .
What is theme park without Dalton bros in a walk with a Lucky Luke heheh
On a Mexican area we arrived just in time for Zorro , and here he is in all of it's glory
And what do we know , in a second guns started to blaze
Zorro doin what he knows best , 3 vs 1 fight
As we all know Zorro is a magnet for women , so my better half arrives thinking that Mr. Banderas will pop out from somewhere :) , what a heck , you are good to . Stand there and look me in the eyes .
Move on move on , we got plenty to see more . And after few rounds of beer and some burgers we headed to Native Indians area. Show was great . To be honest we don't have much opportunity to see something like this. I was like a kid , let's se this and that , let's go there , it was real fun .
Warrior dance
Some nice girl too
They look scary
In one moment i was thinking that we went back in time
My wife amusing the Chief , and the crowd around . Later we sit with Chief ant talked a bit , they are in Sweden every year for 3-4 months , getting good money. Really friendly people .
In a Wild West arena some robbery is going down . Really good show , shooting , explosions , girls running .
Some flying action stunts
End of show . Time to wrap up , i have enjoyed really much , there is so much to see , park is huge with lot of attractions . Specially for kids . I will go again it is so much fun there .
Thanks for reading
That is what I respect the West shows, they know how to create an incredible atmosphere! it looks like in our country everyone are too lazy for it :)
That place looks like a blast. There is something cool about these old days. Thanks for sharing this Iggy! :)
