We just made it to Akureyri... What a long day of MX racing and traveling.
Hello fellow Steemians!
This morning I woke up and drove from Hafnarfjörður to Selfoss wich is an 1 hour drive to compete in the Icelandic Motocross championship.
My girlfriend is dealing with some serious sickness and she wont be on the bike for a couple of days :( so she wasn't racing.
The moment when the gate dropped I realised that my body wasn't ready for racing again because of an injury I got from a crash few weeks ago when I was racing. So I've pretty much been off the bike since the last race, in the first heat I was 3rd after the holeshot but I only took the first lap because of the pain in my shoulder.
After this disappointment we drove for 5hours from Selfoss to Akureyri, but we made the drive a bit fun with a quick stop to give the horses some apples. :)
But now I am laying in a comfy bed in a sweet summer house here in Akureyri where I will be staying for the next 2 weeks.
The cars are stacked with dirt bikes, mtb downhill bikes and some other stuff for upcoming actions so the next 2 weeks are going to be SUPER.
