A Visit To Mangalore :)
Mangalore, officially known as Mangaluru, is one of the most multicultural non-metro cities of India. It is situated in the state of Karnataka. Two years ago, I visited this beautiful city along with my friends. For those of you who will be visiting it in near future, I'll be stating down the places and restaurants to visit. The rest of you can take a tour of the place by reading ahead. (Since that time I didn't have my DSLR and was using an old phone, bear with the pictures :) ......).
Places To Visit :
* Tannirbhavi Beach : This is one of the most beautiful beaches in Mangalore, coming second in popularity to Panambur Beach. We went here to watch the sunset and for a stroll. There are food stalls nearby where you can enjoy local delicacies.
* Kudroli Gokarnath Temple : This temple stands at just about a distance of 2km from the centre of the city. I fell in love with the architecture immediately. It is dedicated to Gokarnanatha, a form of Lord Shiva. The towers and walls are decorated with murals of various gods and goddesses.
* Panambur Beach : Located a little far from the center (10km) is this beautiful beach in Mangalore. It is on the shores of Arabian sea and is credited as one of the safest and best maintained beaches of India. You can also enjoy horse riding here! The water as well as the beach were very clean.
* Pilikula Science Center, Lake And Biological Park : This was amongst my top favorite places to visit in Mangalore. Everything is situated right next to each other. I loved the Science Center! Not only for the kids, but it will win the hearts of adults as well. Situated right next to it is the zoo where you will find varieties of animals and birds.
* St. Aloysius Chapel : There are many churches in the city and trust me when I say, all are beautiful! We decided to visit this church. It was beautiful from inside as well. The interiors made me awestruck and just sitting there made me at peace.

*Holy Hill : As the name suggests, this place was situated on top of a hill. With a view of the entire city, it was a delight to visit this place. Sit here for some time, say a prayer and enjoy the view.
Don't forget to try out the sea-food while you are there. Some of the restaurants serve the most delicious and fresh crabs and fishes. Don't forget to try the crab soup at _Gajalee Sea Food Restaurant and also go for street food here!
