You need several weeks just to scratch the surface of Paris. Just as you think you’ve seen everything, you find new markets and attractions to explore around the corner. It’s impossible to even begin to think you can see it all. Paris is divided into 20 arrondissements with the city center being the first. The surrounding districts are numbered in a clockwise order which is vital to have a basic understanding of, because it helps when choosing accommodation or staying safe in the evening. We stayed in the 10th which was a little overcrowded but amazingly convenient for public transport. From its historical revolutionaries, world class chefs and 19th century impressionists there is much to learn and explore in the French capital.
