Fort drakensteijn, a great place for family outing
Fort drakensteijn is a beautiful park and playground located in Schiedam, in the South West of the Netherlands. Draken means Dragon in Dutch. That is why a wooden Dragon is located in this park, as shown below.
When the weather is good, a lot of people come here for picnic and Barbecue. The park has a lot of tables, where you can easily put your food. Moreover, if you are an animal lover, you will find a lot of animals there, like Peacock/Peahens, Horses, Sheep, Cows and Donkeys etc, as you can see from the pictures I took there.
Moreover, in this place, there are also a lot of swings for children, as can be seen from the pictures I took there.
Lastly, if you just want to have a stroll, you'll love this place, due to its beautiful scenery, with lush green grass and beautiful lakes, as can be seen from the following photos.
O God.. It looks like heaven.. I think a person may spend his all day here. No stress no rush..
Yes, its beautiful indeed :) And is also quite big. A nice place to relax with your family and friends.
