RE: Rabat, Morocco beyond the clichés

Great post. Not only do you provide an impressive photographic account, but also a very engaging narrative style.
It must be a trasnformative experience to visit these ancient cities. I wonder which one of the modern cities will become ruins, whihc ones will remain intact, which ones will always evolve into better places.
I am glad you showed an ecletic selection from those places. There is beauty in the mundane.

Thank you very much for your nice comment and glad you liked our article and the pictures in it. Hedi takes the pictures and I do the writing so that’s a team effort. ^^
As you said, there is beauty in the smallest things and especially so in ancient cities. It really is a special kind of journey to visit such ancient places. It makes you stop and wonder how life used to be like when they weren’t ruins!
You’re raising a very interesting question actually, one whose answer is only left to our imagination. Whichever cities will fall into ruin though, they’ll live on as long as there’s someone willing to visit them. :)
