RE: Taipei Surfing: Taiwan Beaches Near Taipei

in #travel5 years ago

That image of the sand sculture is the most elaborate art I have seen (in that material).
We know little about Taiwan and have a hard time understanding its political status. We usually associate Taiwan with mega urban development. Seeing this aspect of it is equally impressive. So much beauty.
I am impressed by all the infrastructure associated with the touristic services. That's the way it should be. That's all we do not have here and apparently will not have for a long time.
Some of my country men get man at me because I tend to be harsh at criticizing my own culture, but I can't ignore what's obvious. Natural beauty is nothing without some conditions to allow visitors to have a pleasant experience.
It looks like you guys have it all there.
Congratulations

Absolutely agree! Taiwan makes things very easy, safe and affordable for tourists to the the beauty of their country. I'm generalizing here, but I've been to a lot of other places that do this. I just posted an article on the sand sculpture festival and will have a video out this week on it.
