안녕하세요 저는 한국 서울에 사는 @highkoco 입니다. 오늘은 제가 1주일 동안 다녀온 하와이 여행에 대해 포스팅하려 합니다.

Day 1 of travel (여행 1일차)

[I have been to Hawaii Honolulu on 18.02.17 ~ 18.02.23.]
저는 하와이 호놀룰루를 18.02.17.~18.02.23.동안 다녀왔어요ㅎㅎ

[The plane used Jin Air and the flight took about 8 hours from Inchon, South Korea to Honolulu, Hawaii. Thanks to the fast check-in time, I arrived at a comfortable place to sleep and get up.]
항공기는 진에어를 이용했으며 비행시간은 한국의 인천부터 하와이 호놀룰루까지 8시간정도 걸렸습니당. 비행기 체크인을 빨리한 덕에 편한자리에서 한숨 자고 일어나니 도착해있더라고요.

[The first impression of Honolulu was a very warm and friendly atmosphere.]
호놀룰루의 첫인상은 매우 따듯하고 포근한 분위기여요!!

[Hawaii is made up of a total of eight islands, and the island I will spend a week was a well-developed island called Oahu.]
하와이는 총8개의 섬으로 이루어져 있으며 제가 1주일동안 지낼 섬은 오아후라는 제일 개발이 잘된 섬이었어요.

[Upon arriving in Oahu, I visited Hawaii's only royal palace, Iolani Palace and downtown. Hawaii has a lot of palm trees and sunshine is good and it was pleasant. First of all, I felt that the air was really clean.]
오아후에 도착하자마자 하와이 유일의 왕궁인 이올라니 궁전과 다운타운을 구경했어요. 하와이는 야자수도 많고 햇살도 좋고 쾌적해서 좋더라고요. 무엇보다도 공기가... 정말 깨끗한게 확 느껴졌어요.

[What was especially impressive was that Hawaii had a well built bike sharing system! And many people are using it. I walked all the time and I was very envious of these things.(But I felt the charge was expensive so I did not use it.)]
특히 인상깊었던 점은 자전거 공유 시스템이 잘 구축되어있다는 것이었어요! 그리고 많은 사람들이 이걸 이용하고 있더라고요. 뚜벅이인 저는 이런점들은 참 부러웠어요ㅋㅋㅋ(하지만 요금이 비싸게 느껴져서ㅠㅠ 이용은 안해봤어요)

[Our first meal in Hawaii is Hawaiian specialty! I ate roco moco! There is also a nice patty and egg in the wonderful gravy sauce.]
하와이에 도착해서 첫 식사로 하와이 명물! 로코모코를 먹었어요! 끝내주는 그레이비 소스에 맛있는 패티와 계란이 함께하니 역시는 역시더라고요 ㅎㅎ

[My accommodation was a hotel called Gateway in Waikiki. Although it is a relatively old hotel, I chose it after reviewing Google reviews that it is good for caustic rain recently. The staff was friendly and the facilities were very good for the price. The location of the hotel is a little far from Waikiki Beach, but if you are around, it's okay! I was personally very satisfied except for the lack of soundproofing!]
제가 지낸 숙소는 와이키키에 있는 게이트웨이 라는 호텔이었어요. 비교적 오래된 호텔이긴 하지만 최근 리모델링 후 가성비가 좋다는 구글 리뷰를 보고 골랐지요. 직원들도 친절하고 시설도 가격대비 너무 마음에 들었어요. 호텔 위치는 와이키키 비치까지 걸어가기에는 좀 거리가 있지만 주변 구경하면서 다니면 괜찮아요! 방음이 좀 안되는거 빼고는 개인적으로 너무 만족스러웠어요!

[In the meantime, the day darkened and I went out for dinner.]
어느사이에 날이 어두워져서 저녁을 먹으려 나왔어요 ㅋㅋㅋ

[Let's have a nice dinner on the first night! I went to the roof top restaurant called Sky Waikiki with beautiful night view!]
첫날 저녁을 멋지게 먹고자! 야경이 아름다운 스카이 와이키키 라는 루프탑 레스토랑을 가고 있어요!!

[The menu I ate at Sky Waikiki was a Wakiki chicken homemade chicken hamburger and tuna dish. I had a nice night view and I ate delicious food. But it was a bit disappointing because my place was not where I could see the night view. If you are thinking of going to the Sky Waikiki by all means, be sure! exactly! I want you to have a window seat!]
스카이 와이키키에서 먹은 메뉴는 와키키키 수제 치킨 햄버거랑 참치요리였는데 생각보다 맛있어서 깜짝 놀랬어요!! 멋있는 야경과 함께 맛있는 음식을 먹으니 꿀맛이더라고요. 근데 저희 자리가 야경을 바로 볼 수 있는 곳이 아니어서 조금 아쉬웠어요. 혹시라도 스카이 와이키키에 가실 생각이라면 꼭! 꼭! 창가 자리를 달라고 하시기 바래요!

[The first day we had dinner and watched around Waikiki and it was over! Ha ha ha]
첫날은 그렇게 저녁을 먹고는 와이키키 주변을 구경하다가 끝이 났어요! ㅋㅋㅋ!

[The nightlife of Waikiki was so beautiful ... I want to go back]
와이키키의 밤거리는 너무나도 아름다웠어요...ㅠㅠ 다시 가고 싶어요...힝

Day 2 of travel (여행 2일차)

[On the second day of the trip, I woke up at 3 am! I went to Diamond Head and heard a rumor that the sunrise was so awesome. I got up and took a taxi to Diamond Head. But what about it ... Entry was possible from 6 o'clock.]
여행 둘째날에는 새벽 3시에 일어났어요! 왜냐하면 다이아몬드 헤드에 가서 보는 일출이 그렇게 끝내준다는 소문을 들었거든요 ㅋㅋㅋ 일어나서 택시를 타고 다이아 몬드 헤드를 갔답니다. 그런데 왠걸... 입장은 6시부터 가능했어요 ㅠㅠ

[There are many people waiting at the entrance from the dawn. Most of them were Japanese. The entrance manager said that he joked that 200-300 Japanese would come to Japan everyday forever.]
새벽부터 입구에서 기다리는 사람들이 많더라고요. 대부분이 일본인들이었어요. 입구관리자분께서 말씀하시기를 앞으로 영원히 매일 200~300명의 일본인들이 찾아올거라고 농담을 하더라고요ㅋㅋㅋ

[The spectacular sight of the Diamond Head coming dawn will not be forgotten. I could feel the morning coming quietly with the clouds.]
새벽녘이 밝아오는 다이아몬드 헤드에서 보는 멋진 광경은 지금도 잊혀지질 않아요. 구름과 함께 조용히 다가오는 아침이 느껴지더라고요

[I could not see the sunrise exactly because it was covered by clouds, but when I saw the sky filled with orange and pale gray.]
구름에 가려져 일출을 정확하게는 볼 수 없었지만 주황빛과 옅은 회색빛으로 가득차는 하늘을 보면 소름이 돋을 정도로 아름다웠어요.

[If you are going to Hawaii, take a hike to Diamond Head and watch the sunrise. We strongly recommend it.]
하와이에 가신다면 다이아몬드 헤드 하이킹을 하셔서 일출을 꼭 보세요. 강력 추천합니당ㅋㅋ

[It was dark when I went up, so I did not know it, but it was higher than I thought because I was going to go down.]
올라갈때는 어두워서 잘몰랐는데 내려갈려고 하니까 생각보다 높더라고요.....내려가는게 더 힘들었어요 ㅠㅠ

다 내려와서 기념사진도 찍고요ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

[I was hungry after hiking. I went to koko head cafe and ate brunch. The hotcakes and the fruits that came out were very very sweet! Even though it was 8:30 in the morning, it was almost full. It must have been a good restaurant. It was okay.]
하이킹을 하고 나니 배가 고프더라고요 코코 헤드 카페에 가서 브런치를 먹었답니다. 핫케익과 나오는 과일들이 아주아주 꿀맛이었어요! 아침 8시 30분정도였음에도 불구하고 거의 만석이었어요. 맛집이었나봐요. 괜찮았어요.

[I hike from the dawn and I guess I have spent my energy. Still, I went into the hotel and slept. I woke up and had an evening. The Hawaii wish list was to go to Wolfgangs Steakhouse.]
새벽부터 하이킹을 했더니 에너지를 다썼버렸나봐요. 그래도 호텔에 들어가서 꿀잠을 잤답니다. 자고일어나니 저녁시간이더라고요. 하와이 위시리스트였던 울프강 스테이크하우스를 가기로 합니다.

[It is delicious to eat bread.]

[I ate the Lipstick steak with grilled onions! Honestly ... my mouth is cheap, I do not know the taste for price.]
립아이 스테이크에 구운양파를 곁들여서 먹었어요! 솔직히... 제 입이 싸구려라 그런지... 가격 대비 맛은 잘모르겠어요 흑흑흑

[The aftermath of the hike was great ... I went to sleep again after eating dinner. So my second day also ended quickly ...]
하이킹의 여파가 컸던지... 저녁을 먹고 다시 잠을 자로 들어갔답니다. 그렇게 저의 2일차도 빠르게 막을 내렸어요 ...
