Wandering Siquijor
It’s our first stopover of the day! The church is known as the San Isidro Labrador Parish but what amazes me most in the church is that it was built in stone and hardwood by Filipino artisans. The interior of the church is definitely a thing of beauty. Proud Filipino here! Try to visit the church on weekdays to avoid distracting church-goers and can have time to take pictures and with the Lord.
If you like to jump in a cliff then Salagdoong is the right place for you. You can enjoy with just your 25 pesos for entrance fee. You don’t need to spend a lot of money in a 5 star hotel. This resort is just right for backpackers and beach lovers! On the other hand, I enjoy every moment in Salagdoong even if I am not a great swimmer nor diver.
On the way to Salagdoong is a protected forest. We have to stop by and take a photo because the view and its background is wonderful. By the way, we just rent a scooter/motor and hire a driver because my bestfriend and I don’t know how to drive. Much better if you know how because it’s convenient and fast to reach the destinations. The motorcycle and the driver cost 500 and we only spent 250 each with my friend for the ride. Best thing about renting a scooter is that you can go anywhere you want. It’s an unlimited ride with kuya for 10-12hours.
If you’re an architect, designer or an engineer you will appreciate this ranch. Everything is just so unique and fabulous. And if you have visited La Vie in Cebu, Kanheron ranch is somehow similar. They’ve got so many drinks but never tasted any because I was busy taking pictures. lol However, there are portions in their place that are still under construction like their pool. When I come back, this ranch will be more than fabulous as ever as now!
