Diary #4: Sidemen, Bali

I promised to show you more about the beautiful island Bali! So here it is.

I would like to show you a very special and beautiful place in Bali, the village Sidemen. Despite the overdevelopment on the island this unique area in east Bali still has the feeling as if not much has changed. The small villages are surrounded by rice fields and agricultural land while people still tend to their fields.

Me and my friends made a tour of the east coast to the north of Bali and passed these beautiful rice fields which are - in my opinion - more beautiful than the famous Tegalalang Rice Terraces near Ubud. We were so happy to discover this place.

So if you want to see the real nature of Bali, you should go there!
