Aloha Tower

That blue building you see is Aloha Tower. Aloha Tower is an iconic symbol that rises above Honolulu Harbor at the edge of downtown Honolulu. Aloha Tower was built in 1926 and had an observatory and lookout stations for harbor pilots. Its lighthouse served as a navigation marker and its clock was one of the largest in the U.S. Today Aloha Tower is a welcoming landmark to visitors and still serves as a docking harbor to cruise ships. It also has the Aloha Tower Marketplace which is part of Hawaii Pacific University and a variety of restaurants. You can still visit the observation deck on the 10th floor of the Tower to see views of the harbor and Honolulu itself.
