The High Roller
... is an attraction in Las Vegas, NV. Similar to the "London Eye" in the UK. It is really just a giant ferris wheel, or observation wheel, for people to see the surrounding geography. We could see The High Roller from nearly any part of the city. It is kind of tucked away behind the strip by some of the main hotel & casinos. You can see it here behind the Mirage!
You go through a building to get onto the wheel where you can buy drinks. You can even pay to be on one of the containers with an open bar. Haha. We just went the cheap route and brought 1 beer on each. It was good enough. There were 6 others in the container with us, 1 couple and 2 sets of friends, 8 people total. It was large enough to be comfortable. Once your off, you can walk around and begin enjoying the scenery! Everyone was awed by the mountains around us. A lot of people don't know that Las Vegas is actually a valley surrounded by beautiful mountains. It's not just in the middle of the desert.
