The Chong Nonsi bridge in Bangkok, Thailand..!!
This Skywalk is a Urban Landmark located in the middle of the Sathorn-Silom CBD (Central Business District) which connect the Chong Nonsi BTS station and the Sathorn BRT station. It accommodates 10,000+ commuters daily i happen to be there the other day as i wanted to see what all the fuss was about this landmark bridge well certainly is a inspiring masterpiece apart from the usually architectural design it has so many great views that extent out as far as the eye can see.
The surrounding high-rise “modern” office buildings provide ravishing background setting for their artistic pixels.
Sathon Road is a major road that passes through Sathon district in central Bangkok, Thailand. It is an important transportation link between Phra Nakhon and Thonburi sides of Bangkok. One the most busiest intersection in Bangkok.
The Traffic on this road is a absolute nightmare from 3pm till almost 10 pm every night i would taking the Skytrain, you can walk quicker then that traffic can move. Sathon Road is lined with skyscrapers and corporate offices, especially banking and finance related. Thai and International banks such as SMBC and Citicorp have their headquarters located along Sathon Road. Numerous 40+ story luxury condominiums line the street. It is a sight to see it's like looking at millions of ant's crawling home.
It also has, along the South side of Sathorn Road many Embassies like the Australia , Denmark, Germany ,Malaysia and Slovak Republic Embassies.
I took this photo at about 10pm that night and still Sathorn Road was congested.
The Silom Line of the BTS Skytrain also runs along most part of Sathorn Road with stations Surasak and Saphan Taksin. The skytrain extension to the other side of Chao Phraya River.
Thank God i don't drive in Bangkok lot more convenient and quicker via Skytrain and Under ground Train.
