Travel Blog Road trip Scotland!

June first we took a plane to Inverness. We are 6 photographers on a mission! Try to capture the beauty of the land!
We started with a beautiful drive from Inverness to Glencoe en drove beside the Lake of loch ness! Every little ripple on the water or little boat was a reason to call out for Nessie :p But to bad we didn't see her. But if you drive there you are really convinced that she is somewhere out there. It's a massive lake and nice to see because of the little towns and castles along the way! It's a true legend!
When you drive to Glencoe you first drive through Glencoe valley, a beautiful green valley full of waterfalls , mountains views and little lakes and rivers!

These mountains are a good place to hike. In the visitors center you kan get some information about a lot of hiking trails op de mountains and around the Glencoe valley! https://www.nts.org.uk/visit/places/glencoe
We did the hike to the Hidden Valley. It's a very pretty hike through a valley full of waterfalls and a vast flowing river. Watch out if it has rain a lot because of the river swell.

The hike was one and a half hour upp but we did stop a lot for some picture and some drone flying. Too bad i can't upload some clips from my Mavic pro 2. Also we didn't make it up above the tree line because of the river flowing to vast. there is a crossing that we didn't dear to take. Safety first!
The down hike went a lot faster because the rain came in and we had enough pictures taken uphill! 45 minutes maybe 1 hour later we were back at the car!

Time for sunset, drove to the lake down in the valley , loch Leven, and got a perfect spot for some sunset action. So close to the water in spring is not a very good idea if you are not prepared. So many midges flying around there! Take some precaution with you in the form of a midges repellent and a midge head net. Wear long sleeves and long pants in bright colors, midges like dark cloth!
