Ice Hotel (Québec, Canada)

I would like to share with you a truly unique attraction of Quebec City and that I briefly visited last year ... the Ice Hotel!

For 18 years now, the Ice Hotel has been offering visitors the opportunity to visit or stay in this giant structure made exclusively of snow and ice. Comprising more than 45 rooms, the hotel offers themed suites, theme suites with fireplace, theme suites with fireplace and spa. The room temperature of each room remains between -3 ° C and -5 ° C (27 ° F and 23 ° F), regardless of the weather outside. Once bedtime arrives, a cozy sleeping bag, an insulation sheet and a pillow are delivered to the room room. Sleeping bags are designed to withstand temperatures of -15 ° to -30 ° C (-22 ° F).

Located on the site of the Val Cartier holiday village, the stay allows you to be close to a wide variety of activities: tube sliding, snow rafting, skating, dog sledding, sauna/spa, indoor water park. 

It is possible to visit or stay at the Ice Hotel from December 23 to March 25, 2018!
