Here's your guide to the amazing perks the world's most expensive city has to offer.

Hola, Steemit friends!
I'm back again with another feature on Singapore and this time, I'm bringing you along a free tour guide!

The Lion City still holds the title for the most expensive city up until today. Just recently, a friend and I went to Singapore and we totally had some serious fun doing several activities.

Here's a list of the top 5 things we did and experienced for FREE! Yes, that's right! Not a single Singaporean dollar spent!

1. First up, walk along Keong Saik Road.
One could say you would never appreciate Singapore by just looking up their skyscrapers. The city is much more than that. Along the Chinatown District, you will find a road that looks more like an old town. Some locals say it is the place where the old and new Singapore collide. Nestled in the middle of the road is one of the most popular rooftop bars in the city, Potato Head. Happy hour starts early at 4 PM.

2. Temple hop!
The city has quite a number of temples that are open to visitors and tourists. Just don't forget to be cautious of every temple's traditions or regulations when going in these sacred spaces

The Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Museum requires tourists to wear a sarong particularly those who are not in proper attire

3. Get a jump shot with Singapore's iconic highrises!
Because a photo with the Marina Bay Sands and the Singapore Flyer is in every tourist's must-do lists! Ride the bus or the MRT and drop off at Bayfront Avenue. Walk along the bridgeway for that perfect shot.

A jump shot or the trip didn't happen

4. Experience the magical Garden Rhapsody.
This is the part where everyone lies down the foot of the Super Trees to watch the 15-minute lights and music show after a day of exploring the domes and the awesome nature reserves at Gardens by the Bay. That way, when you lie down the cement, you can actually see the Super Trees light up against the skies right in front of you. I'm telling you, you can't have it any other way! Show starts at 7:45PM and 8:45PM daily.

5. Discover Singapore's artistic side with free exhibitions at The Esplanade.
Feast your eyes with several art displays as you make your way to the rooftop to get that final Singapore skyline shot. The Esplanade is home to Singapore's local artists with various performances all throughout the year ranging from musicals, theater plays, poetry reading and the likes. Schedules are posted on their website.
