Wonders of Tanzania

Serengeti National Park
The Serengeti is famous to its great migration, incredible natural phenomenon which involves the largest movement of wild animals which includes herds of wildebeest, almost a million zebras, and other exotic animals migrate from Maasai Mara in Kenya to Serengeti in Tanzania. The Serengeti National Park is the most famous reserve in Tanzania. With the highest concentration of wildlife, it’s one of the best wildlife sanctuaries in the world. The park features a large number of wildebeest, zebras, lions, and gazelles.
Designated a UNESCO Heritage Site, Selous Game Reserve is considered the largest wildlife reserves in the world. With a total area of around 54,600 km2, Selous features a wide range of diverse eco-systems rocky outcrops, dense woodlands and open plains. There are a variety of things to do in Selous such as game drives, walking safaris, and boat safaris. You’ll also see the “Big Five” animals here during the game drives. Selous features some lakes which attract a range of birdlife including the majestic Fish Eagle. You’ll also find crocodiles and hippos in the lakes too.
Mount Kilimanjaro
Mount Kilimanjaro is a massive inactive strato-volcano, Africa’s tallest mountain and the world’s tallest free-standing. The mountain has seven peaks, and the highest elevation is the Uhuru Peak at 19,341 feet (5,895m). Walking has various routes, and the Rongai route is the easiest challenge to conquer.
Ngorongoro Crater
The largest unbroken caldera in the world is Ngorongoro Crater, often called the African's Garden of Eden. It is the home of elephants, cheetahs, lions, buffaloes, wildebeests and the rare black rhinos. Discover rare species that may never be found in other parts of the world. The natural reserve is home to some of the thickest large mammals in Africa. Apart from its geological magnificence, the reserve is known for its spectacular scenery and a diversity of flora and fauna found in dense areas throughout the year. Ngorongoro Crater has a large concentrations of game, thus, you’ll definitely enjoy a safari holiday here. The reserve has the finest population of black rhinos and you’ll see them roaming around the open grasslands. The majestic elephants are also here, especially the old bulls. There are several safari lodges and camps that will make your holiday here worthwhile.
Gombe Stream National Park
The Gombe Stream National Park lies in the Western Kigoma, a small park that can be accessed by boat. Gombe Stream is mainly, but not exclusively, about primates and birds. This is where you find the Kasakela chimpanzee community, the red-tailed monkeys, vervet monkeys, blue monkeys, leopards, hippos and an incredible number of birds.
Kitulo National Park
Kitulo National Park was established initially to take care of flora. The locals called the Kitulo Plateau "the Garden of God”, while botanists love it as the "Serengeti of Flowers”. The parkis located in Southern Tanzania and is home to a variety of fauna. With its condensed population of birds, the park is a major attraction for bird watchers.
Ruaha National Park
The Ruaha National Park is one of the country's largest national parks.The park features an expansive ecosystem, which includes the Mbomipa Wildlife Management Area, the Rungwa Game Reserve and the Kizigo and Muhesi Game Reserves. Once inhabited by scores of elephant herds, reduced by one of the scourges of Africa's parks, poaching, Ruaha is nevertheless still a favorite habitat for these magnificent beasts.There are over 500 species of birds in the park, and the hornbills are a resident species here. There is a large number of lions here, cheetah, leopard and African wild dogs. The park is easily accessible, you can fly directly into the airstrip at Msembe
