I feel happy when I’m gaining new experiences, insights, and challenging my boundaries. Travel is the perfect catalyst for happiness, as it allow me to experience the natural, cultural, man-made wonders of the world. Also it is worth any cost of sacrifice. Let me start my travel diary at my home province—Ilocos Norte Philippines, where my first love when it comes to traveling.

There is definitely more to provinces than just fields and carabaos- FLOATING COTTAGES in LA VIRGEN MILAGROSA Badoc, Ilocos Norte Philippines. I went there last April 2017 with my family for the first time, and my jaw dropped the moment I saw how blue and clean the water was. I couldn’t imagine there is also a white-beach at the Southern part of my province aside from how we all used to swim in the clear blue waters in the North-PAGUDPUD.

The water is so clear and definitely clean. How I wish I own a better camera to capture this.

I guess floating cottages are designed for people like me who doesn’t know how to swim. You can go far from the shore, you can control where your cottages are, my relatives want it at the middle so we can see more of the place. Luckily for us too, the sky was clear and yes! This complete our summer experience. You just have to pay 800Php (16$) for the cottage.Safety reminder, kids need supervision, water is above 5ft level. Never learned how to swim so I am holding on the rope of the cottage to enjoy the waves.

Not only swimming you can do boating. But we went there peak season, no available boat to rent. We just tried this one..

Rent is 200Php (4$) for 4hrs. Budget friendly right?

Just a reminder— Please don’t ruin our paradise so we won’t have to tell our future children how we used to have a beautiful beach-so they can experience it themselves. LA VIRGEN MILAGROSA experience was the shortest 4hours of my life. ❤️
