ALICANTE- AN UNFORGETTABLE PLACE
In my last post I wrote about Valencia. From Valencia we set out early morning for the Region of Alicante. On both sides we could get a good panoramic view
Alicante is a city and Port in Spain. It is a historic Mediterranean Port. this historic town has narrow roads and colored houses.
The famous Santa Barbara castle in Alicante. It is indeed a fortification in the center of the town.
Santa Barbara is set on a hill top and you can reach the top by an elevator. Santa Barbara castle has cannons, a palace, a moat and ruins of a church.
From the top of the Castle you get magnificent views of the town and Mediterranean coast.
Santa Barbara was originally a Muslim Castle.
Alicante is small town but very beautiful. There is also very beautiful beach and we could see many tourists in the town
Alicante is indeed beautiful and worth visiting
