Phi Phi

So here we are on our forth morning and I am hanging like a skew painting. Jenna is even worse off than I am and is trying to pull herself towards herself.

After our long flight we arrived in Phuket and booked hotels from the airport which was made our lives so easy. After a much needed shower we were off to hit the town and got the holiday underway. Phuket was crazy, so many lights and people but it was a great introduction to Thailand. We stumbled home around 1 am and managed to miss breakfast cause we overslept. Again we got our stuff together and jumped into the taxi that as going to drop us off at the pier where we would catch the ferry across to Phi Phi. In our infinite wisdom we decided that there was not so much need for sunscreen and this left us both a little frazzled. Jen especially suffered and ended up looking like she had red patches all over.

On our arrival we hopped onto our taxi boat and went to get settled into the hotel. The rooms are nice and the view even nicer and I had to indulge myself in some Thai garlic and pepper chicken with flied lice… Yum yum. Next order for the day was a nice massage while the sun was setting over the incredible cliffs of the island.

Yesterday was so relaxed as we spent the entire day on the beach reading and swimming and enjoying the view of the 6 sexy swedes tanning topless on the beach… What a treat! Later on in the afternoon we headed into town for lunch (Thai green curry…again yum yum), we booked some dives for tomorrow and planned the party for the night.

The party started with a bucket and some shots and ended up with us stumbling back to the room 3am… EINA…

Now it’s time to have some lunch, crack open my book and possibly a bear (hair of the dog) and catch some sun… Yet another day in Thailand.
