My experience at Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park, Alberta Canada

in #travel7 years ago

On my recent journey to Alberta, Canada, I spent a day at Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park. It 's called this as it extends down into Montana, USA. This mountain range makes up a part of the famous "Rocky Mountains". Waterton Shoreline Cruise Co. took me on a boat tour through Waterton Lake. If you are planing this cruise, it's first come first serve, no reservations taken.

It was an amazing day with beautiful mountains to take in on the drive into the Park, and the scenery surrounding the lake itself. The cruise will dock briefly on the Montana side to drop off Crypt Lake Trail and Goat Haunt hikers.

Surprisingly, it wasn't crowded for July. I highly recommend, for all ages, this cruise and Waterton-Glacier Park.
