Castle Ruin Pfeffingen near Basel

The ruin Pfeffingen sits on top of the rim of the "Blauen im basellandschaftlichen Pfeffingen in der Schweiz. The ruin you see today are the remains from the lord, Grafen von Thierstein-Pfeffingen.

The little castle datea back to the 11th century.

We visited the ruin just after spending new years eve in France as a stopover on our way to Germany. Located just outside Basel you can enjoy an impressive view from the top of the hill.

The photos are taken by a Huawei P20. Which was really easy because the weather and light was just so very nice.
