Azores-A photographers paradise

Hello Steemians,

Just wanted to show you some photos I took during my recent visit in the island of Sao Miguel, the biggest one of the Azorian complex. Azores or officially the Autonomous Region of the Azores is one of the two autonomous regions of Portugal, an archipelago composed of nine volcanic islands in the North Atlantic Ocean. The island of Sao Miguel had such an amazing tropic climate and is full of rare trees and animals as well as whales and dolphins not far from the coast! It was an amazing experience and I would definitely recommend to any travel-addict out there.

Specially that now Ryainair has cheap flights from Lisbon ;p

The Azorian islands were somewhat created by various volcanic eruptions and even today some volcanoes are still active while there are sings or geothermal hot springs were people use them to cook their food! They use under ground ovens that eventually give a pleasant salty flavor to the food (personal opinion of course :D)

If you ever have the chance to visit Azores, do it. It will be worth it !
