Port Orange, Florida and the Intercoastal Waterways

A few miles out of Daytona Beach is a beautiful small town of Port Orange. The streets are clean, and the water is out of this world. This dock is the perfect place to access the Intercoastal Waterway and I love to Kayak my way among the islands. 

The peaceful waterway is calm and relaxing. Is there a better place to be?

Canals are everywhere and wander through the town itself.  They are so clean and the perfect place to be. 

Looking out across the Halifax River from Port Orange and South Daytona Beach, you see Daytona Beach on the otherside of the river. What a beautiful day it has been and to be on the water is a plus. 

The closing chapter on a perfect day on the Intercoastal Waterway and the Halifax River.This is another shot of Daytona Beach across the water.  The day has ended and we call it a night. A cup of tea and a good book end our day.
