Flipstar is getting blessed
We did a trip to a temple. Unfortunately I forgot the name of it. Judging by the amounts of tourists it is far of being a secret though.
Despite by being a bit of a tourist trap it was really nice though.
You can go over to the temple and you wash your hands and face with water from a spring and get some rice on your head and a flower behind your ear.
The rice on the forehead is quite the usual picture on Bali. We got told it is kind of a sacrifice you do during praying.
I am blessed though to see and experience all those things in the last 9 months since I left Germany.

Vielleicht wenn man nur mit dem Rad unterwegs ist, und einen Weg gefahren ist, denn man schon 1000x gefahren ist und sich dann für Indiana Jones hält?!? ;-)

we also went there in bali, it was totally crowded .. but the other end, there is a beach and another temple.. totally empty!

Das ist der Meerestempel Tanah Lot hier in Bali. Ich war auch schon da ist es ist wirklich sehr eindrücklich. Sonnige Grüsse auch aus Bali :-)

It been a good 20 years since I went to Bali, I imagine it has changed so much. It was relatively quiet back then, now there seems to be quite an influx almost like a spiritual pilgrimage. Looks stunning though from your pictures, will have to go back soon.
