Top 5 Easter Destinations(p#1)

Once again let’s post and start something different 

Easter is very close and for many people its vacation time!. They start checking destinations and try to find something new to see that will amaze them. 

You don’t have to worry if Easter is not part of your religion! No, not at all you have my word!

The experience is all that matters i believe and it is something you need to see and feel once in your life at least to form a point of view of how is it done and means for other cultures. 

This post will have 3 parts, part 1 will be some of my suggestions as part 2 for Easter vacation and the last one will be about Easter in Greece, something that I know a lot better and I am going to write a lot about. 

                                                                     

(I got a lot of pictures and all in one part will be extreme tiring to read, and i want to read it not just check the picutres :P) 

If you don’t know what it is, in a few words Easter or Pascha (Greek name) is a holiday and a big celebration I can say about Jesus resurrection from the dead. I suggest you go some days before Easter (Sunday) at least for the whole week or Holy week as it’s called to experience and live the full ‘’deal’’.      

                                                                           1.  Scotland   

                                                                 

Aside from the typical things everyone doing like eggs and eating, Scotland has a tradition that requires the eggs. After boiled them they go to hills on Easter Sunday and start rolling them something that represents the rolling away of stones on Jesus tomb. 

While you are here you can visit the royal botanic garden of Edinburgh (if the weather makes it possible or you like the rain!)

The old city of Edinburgh that has maintained and reform the medieval streets and houses giving you the expression you went with Doctor’s who Tardis some centuries back.

Interesting fact! (it is UNESCOS World Heritage site ) 

If you want more and in the mood of Easter check out the Church of the Holy Rude that founded in 1129 but most of the parts that remained are from 14 and 15 century.

                                                                        2.   Argentine  

 

A great country with a tradition that includes Rosca de Pascuas a sweat Easter cake with pastry cream ( there are different varieties , there is a chocolate one you can thank me later for that J ) having Spanish origins.

Moreover you can see another UNESCO World heritage site and that is none other than Iguazu falls (mighty waterfalls and a great landscape)

 Recoleta is downtown area located in Buenos Aires with many historical and beautiful buildings but more renowned for the ‘’Recoleta cemetery’’ that contain graves of many noble and famous people. Finally you can go and try dancing the erotic and sexy Tango that have heard so much about.

    I read many articles and saw many videos to come down to these destinations so I just want to say that these destinations are according to my personal thinking and in some extend experience too( I am talking about the upcoming part 3) so don’t take it personally. I bet there are many more great destinations that I am aware of so please let me and all the others who read this post know
