My First Snow Experience in the Philippines : A Visit to the Ice Flower Cafe
Yes you read that right. My first snow experience in the Philippines. And no I was not somewhere in the Northern region where the occasional snow-falling can be experienced.
This particular "snow experience" of mine happened in the Mall of Asia in Pasay; a good 15-minute ride from our place. We paid a visit to this Ice Flower Korean Dessert cafe to let our daughter (and me more than her probably.lol) experience snow.
This cafe offers one of the best bingsoo in town (not that I have experienced other bingsu elsewhere) from what I read. Probably it's because they are using very fine and tasty ice on their bingsu.

A how-to-eat-bingsoo-guide :) Since we were all first-timers in having bingsoo, it was a good thing that there was a guide on how to eat one. We were just happy to follow the steps and enjoyed our dessert :)
We ordered the Chocolate and the Cheese Bingsoo. The price range from Php 230-350 for the small-sized bingsoo. (A bit pricey if you ask me but one small serving could be enough for two). Their menu also includes toast, coffee and fruit shakes.
But for the most awaited part however.....
Obviously I "kinda" enjoyed that snow experience in that snow room inside the cafe. Our daughter did not even want to leave the room despite getting wet all over (we had to change her into new clothes after). The snow felt so soft and very cold on our hands that it made me wonder if that was how it would feel to touch the real thing. I hope to know in the near future though. For the meantime, the fine snow falling from the snow machine in the Ice Flower cafe would do. For now....
