Dear friends of steemit.
Receive the warmest and most affectionate greeting from @felixrodriguez and at the same time wish you the best of success in your publications in steemit.
In the following post made in beautiful places of Venezuela, together with my family we appreciate that our country is full of natural riches, that many of us do not value, and sometimes we prefer to leave the country than to visit these beautiful places, that despite being beautiful They are not so expensive when visiting them, for example in Mérida, which was the state where we stayed the longest. We visited Guanare, the spiritual capital of Venezuela and the beautiful tropical island of Margarita, which I present below.
#Temple of the Virgin of Coromoto Guanare Venezuela (Patron of Venezuela)
In my visit with my family to the temple of the patron saint of Venezuela, the Virgin of Coromoto which is located in the city of Guanare edo Portuguesa, just 20 minutes from the aforementioned city, it is built on a plains savanna field and that on several occasions the stamp that appeared to the Indian Coromoto by a beautiful and bright woman who told him fence and throw water to the whites on the banks of the river Guanare, which was taken several times to the cathedral of this city by people and religious of the moment disappeared and returned to appear in the savannah where this temple is currently built, this large-scale work built by democratic politicians in Venezuela at the time and inaugurated by Pope John Paul II in one of the visits to this country.

Here are some of the pictures I take with my family in that place.

Merida

Merida, is the capital of Libertador Municipality and the state of Merida. Mérida is one of the main towns of the Venezuelan Andes. It is located on a plateau in the middle of the region, between the mountain ranges of La Culata and Nevada and the homonymous national parks, this geographical condition positions it as an important tourist center. Likewise, the prestige of its main university and the vast variety of educational institutes have placed it at a national level as a favorite destination for tourism and the student population. It has a culture, rich and diverse cuisine, is an important sports center and has a remarkable handicraft development.
It was founded on three separate occasions, the first of which was on October 9, 1558, by Captain Juan Rodríguez Suárez, as part of New Granada; nevertheless, it happened to belong to the General Captaincy of Venezuela, where it was of great importance during the War of independence of Venezuela.

#LA VENEZUELA DE ANTIER
It is a theme park the same is located in Ejido state Mérida, and I tell you my friends of steemit that is fascinating, appreciate or perhaps perceive a little Venezuela from 1940 to 1958, knowing the traditions of our country in each of the states represented there, with a little humor, for the enjoyment with the family, to arrange to visit the same one you would need a full day to go through each state and live it

#Parque the Dream of the Grandfather

It is an attraction for children on the road that leads from Merida to the Sierra de la Culata, it is quite cold to be more than 2500 meters high, is composed of a set of small houses, have an excellent cafe for adults. This place is wonderful because of the environment that surrounds it, full of trees, good weather and a nature to implore.

#Paramo Sierra de la Culata

The Páramo la Culata is located about 1 hour from the city of Merida is an existing paradise in this city since since the beginning of the journey along the road there are many beautiful places full of crafts landscapes and parks for the recreation of the family and especially surrounded by quite nature really beautiful.

This mountainous paradise full of cold and nature that only surprisingly surprised, the visit falls in love and want to return, in the tour we can see these beautiful trees covered with stick beard and orchid bushes.

Some of the beautiful places for the little ones of the house we have the dream of the grandfather that is an Andean town all in miniature and I tell you that just as the little ones have fun the big ones too.

We can not overlook the beautiful view from the butt of the peak Bolivar, which is great and the day I visited there was a snowfall in that highest mountain point in Venezuela.

Its spectacular vegetation full of very peculiar flowers full of beauty

#The Botanical Garden of Merida Venezuela
is in the middle of the city in the area known as Santa Ana via the sorceress is a fabulous site of family recreation to be in contact with nature and the environment surrounded by a climate of about 16 degrees, where you will find different species of plants as well as places to dislike a coffee and talk with your family or friends and for what you like adventure and adrenaline has stairs and hanging bridges and walk the botanical garden from the tops of the trees ...

#The town of LAGUNILLAS
It is 25 kilometers from the city where there is this lagoon called URAO, according to its inhabitants it has charms and swallows every year if they do not obey or disrespect it, it is visited by hundreds of people for its landscaping and for having food places and children's attractions, in it I meet my wife and daughter visit and already in the final sunset decided to take this picture that I want to share with this community

I also want to tell you what I was hearing about this lagoon as a child when our parents decided to walk with me and my brothers, once we went to a town called Lagunillas It is approximately 25 minutes from the city of Mérida Venezuela. village there is a lagoon called LA DE URAO, it is named after indigenous ethnic groups who lived in the past in that sector, around the lagoon there are a variety of places where they sell typical food of the region as well as souvenirs and there are playgrounds and kiosks with stoves to make sancocho, asados or the food that they want to share with the family, as I have already told you before.

On one of the banks, I observed children and adults bathing in the lagoon and once I told my parents if I could take a bath and at the same time they told me NO, because that lagoon was enchanted and had it deep inside. a snake that swallowed people and could not find the corpse, I stayed like I did not understand if I swallowed people because they had bathed even children in it.

As an adult I have made several visits to this lagoon for its parks and because it is enjoyed as a family but I have never bathed in it, but if I had heard and read in newspapers that drowned so and so in the lagoon of URAO, it was not so often but If I was more or less drowned in it once a year, as the residents of that region said, I started looking for information about it and I found out that it is one of the few saltwater lagoons in the world and that There were many stories about her but all concluded that about 1 or 2 people per year drowned in it and people were incredulous to the charm of it and they challenged it because the community of lagunillas say that the lagoon should not be contradicted because if you do not die in it.

One of the legends on this says that this lagoon of URAO is the daughter of two other lagoons that are in the same municipality but in higher altitude in a sector called the trap, and that an old woman who lived near herIn a ritual, he gave chickens to these lagoons and that, as in the modern world and with modernism, nobody offered anything to this lagoon, so she decided to swallow people. In all this story I do not know what exists but what happens is that it is interesting to know the history of our ancestors, because that tells us the direction where we are going and that all this folklore is interesting because it marks the life of those who live in Lagunillas Mérida state with its history about LAGUNA DE URAO.

#Recorriendo The art of this city
Walking through the center of this city I found myself facing the Plaza Bolivar that this type of art that is monstrous and wonderful to see how they do wonders from scrap metal.

In this one a dinosaur is appreciated, also elaborated with screws, spark plugs, rolineras, gears of box of direction, that is discarded material in workshops of vehicle, that if they do not fuse again for the elaboration of metal, they are highly polluting for the environment.

In this picture apart from being able to appreciate my beautiful family, we can see how an urban craftsman made a cute gorilla the size of a statue, with car tires already discarded and next we see a mosquito carried out with discarded pieces of vehicles such as chains and spare parts. the address box.

In these two photos, we can see the development of a spider and a snake with car tires and motorcycles already discarded and now converted into all beautiful sculptures.

Friends of steemit, this type of work considered as urban art is very beautiful and healthy for our environment imagine if this were more supported by governments we would have less waste and that many of them were converted into art in museums of all the cities of the world promoting thus the artistic tourism and at the same time like relaxation for the familiar enjoyment.

San Rafael de Mucuchies (Burra Taxi)

In the Merida moors, to be a little more specific near the stone chapel built by Mr. Juan Feliz Sanchez in San Rafael de Mucuchies is this unique donkey with some clothes glasses and a sign that says taxi, is for many a tourist attraction to be photographed with this animal ....

Margarita, a beautiful and impressive city. Friends of Steemit I hope you like this post.

One day together with my wife we planned to visit Margarita, one of the first stops we wanted to make was to visit the basilica of the Virgen del Valle. As well as going to a mall (Sambil) to walk a bit through the city, go to the popular markets such as conejero, as well as enjoy the beaches and their hotels

When we landed at the Santiago Mariño international airport that supplies margarita I felt a great enthusiasm, a great vibes and joy to know what this place offers. In it, a man in charge of transportation was waiting for us, who offered the tourist package that would take us to the hotel.

Upon arriving at the hotel lobby we had a special reception and then we were located in the room and there began the adventure of being in a city visited by Venezuelans and strangers, and have an all inclusive service.
Walking a bit around the hotel and since I am restless we decided to go up to a small mountain and the view was wonderful to watch the sea and as I had my wife next to me I can not stand and kiss her.

Within the hotel facilities we had restaurants, bars, snack, gym, beach, theater, massage center as well as sports entertainment for adults and children.

Our experience in Margarita City was wonderful, I managed to observe the details as well as the culture of this place and buy some souvenirs for my family. I do not know if we will return again since the economic situation of our country does not prevent them from doing so, however, I have good memories in mind, especially because I was able to attend with my wife and our daughter, my daughter, as well as my sister-in-law. and a friend where we had a very good time.
